#54. A Summer Riddle
Can you answer this Paul Harvey RIDDLE? It was presented on his September 6, 1997 broadcast, but was written by Lee Pitts.
Read it carefully. It has been claimed that 80% of the kindergarten kids at a school got the correct answer to this riddle compared to only 17% of Stanford University seniors who got it right. Let me know if you got it right -- or not!
................Here is the Riddle:
...What is greater than God,
.........more evil than the devil,
...............the poor have it,
.....................the rich need it,
...........................and if you eat it, you'll die?

Your clever Mr. Brewer! I didn't get it at first, Oh, shame on me!

Even Einstein didn't know everything. Ok, so I knew the answer an hour ago, but could not get the format correct.
I thought I'd heard that riddle recently, and guessed that I'd heard the answer "humble pie". God might agree that humility is greater than He...if He is humble. If God surpasses in all virtues, He would have to be humble. And isn't pie great?
