#66. The Original Conspiracy Theory

'Conspiracy Theory' is a common expression of ridicule and disdain in today's world. Such a negative attitude discredits the proposal of a solution to a crime --  without even looking at the facts.  
 

However, not all conspiracy theories are considered to be ridiculous – it’s always the first one that is without ridicule. That’s right! Society is taught that the original conspiracy theory of a particular crime is the one that should be honored and believed – with or without any evidence to back it up.

We should always be aware of the “Original Conspiracy Theory”. It often arrives without evidence. Allow me to share two illustrations.

Why was Germany in trouble? Adolf Hitler concocted the original conspiracy theory that the Jews were their enemies, the cause of all of Germany’s problems. He launched a massive campaign through the media called "The Big Lie". Hitler believed that no matter how big the lie is, people will believe it if you repeat it enough. And they did!  Amazing!

The original conspiracy theory for the criminal attack of 9/11 was presented by officials of the U.S. government. At 4pm on 9/11, U.S. officials said there are “good indications” that Osama bin Laden is behind the attacks. On 9/13, the White House announced there is “overwhelming evidence” — though no such evidence has ever been presented. On 9/14, Federal officials released the names of 19 hijackers. On 9/17, President Bush says bin Laden is wanted “dead or alive” — no arrest and trial was necessary. And on 9/20, Bush blamed Al Qaeda for “declaring war upon the U.S.” -- all in a week's work.

There you have it! Osama bin Laden conspired with 19 Arabs to steal huge planes and drive them into our tall buildings – the original conspiracy theory! 

No evidence was required for the first theory. But every Conspiracy Theory after the first one … is treated with contempt, ridiculed, and ignored! Maybe we should examine the evidence ... to see if it holds water!
